Measure viability without staining: Cytotoxic effects and measurement errors are eliminated by staining-free determination of the viability. Standardized cell count and viability measurements also lead to improved predictability and quality of your experiments.

The fluildab R-300 is the smallest spectrometer in the range from 375 to 700 nm with a spectral resolution of less than 2 nm. The fluildab R-300 is linear in the range of 0 - 2.5 absorbance units with a photometric accuracy of 0.01.

The results are available within 1 minute. A large "field-of-view" (5.3 mm²) and automated measurement of the cell count reduce human error and increase statistical certainty.

The fluidlab R-300 has a wizard for automatic calibration curves. By saving the curves, an automatic calculation and sample quantification is possible.

FAQs
Where and how can I test the fluidlab R-300?
Contact us by phone or e-mail and arrange a personal demonstration appointment. Our product specialists will come directly to your laboratory and you can test the fluidlab R-300 for free. Several times a year we also exhibit at national and international trade fairs. Follow us on LinkedIn, facebook, instagram and twitter to make sure you don't miss a chance to exchange ideas with our team on site.
How capable is the spectrometer?
Our spectrometer is linear in the value range 0 - 2.5 with a photometric accuracy of 0.01 or 1 %. The spectrum can be captured between 375 nm and 700 nm, with a spectral resolution of less than 2 nm. Further information can be found in the performance report of the spectrometer.
How capable is the Cell Counter?
Our Cell Counter shows a high correlation (99% accuracy, coefficient of determination R²=0.9956) both with the manual method (Neubauer chamber) and with established automated cell counters.
Can the viability be measured staining-free?
The determination of viability is performed with the fluidlab R-300 staining-free. Cytotoxic effects are eliminated and pre-analytical steps are reduced. This saves valuable time during preanalytics, increases the stability of cells and avoids contact with harmful staining materials. The differentiation of dead and living cells works based on our innovative optics identifying the refractive index of cells. The adequate visualisation of the viability application, can be found in our product video.
Which sample carriers can be used?
With a flexible adapter system, the fluidlab R-300 supports both standard cuvettes for spectrophotometric measurements and glass sample carriers of different layer strengths for automatic cell counting and staining-free viability determination.
